A downloadable game for Windows

Tephtime, the one-of-a-kind, diamond star-shaped gem that radiates mana throughout the world, is stolen by an unknown group. Dodge traps and defeat enemies as you venture to retrieve back the gem.

Chromarain is a pixel, side-scrolling platformer about an adventure to retrieve back the stolen Tephtime with the help of a chain-like grappling hook to climb the higher grounds.

NOTE: it is currently in pre-alpha, so expect some bugs and errors.

Install instructions

Steps to download and play the game:

Download the game (.zip) in itch.io
Extract the .zip folder
Open the extracted .zip folder and open 'WindowsNoEditor' folder.
Click on the 'Chromarain' application and NOT on the folder with the same name.
Enjoy

Before opening the game, there is a note/text document at the WindowsNoEditor folder that has a tutorial, about the game and future updates planned.

While with a good set up, the game's very small radius leaves too little room for the player and too much wasted screen space, the grappling feels clunky and unsatisfying unlike other spiderman platformers.
